It's crucial to know that the problem with Outlook not receiving emails may happen on Windows, macOS, and in the Outlook online edition. Start Outlook again.
Turning hardware or software on and off again is effective for a reason. The outlook may sometimes get stuck, either because it is attempting to analyze too much data or because competing applications may be active. As a consequence, Outlook can become completely unresponsive and cease receiving your emails. To test whether emails start coming in, try closing and reopening Outlook after closing all other apps on your computer.
2. Verify your internet connectivity
Outlook won't be able to receive emails if your internet connection is offline. By examining your WiFi or Ethernet connection, you can determine how well your internet is working. Additionally, Outlook itself has a status bar that you may see. There is a problem with your connection if the status bar shows that you are "working offline," "disconnected," or "trying to connect."

If you have an active internet connection yet your status bar indicates that you are working offline, this is the cause of your Outlook inbox being empty. When you are in the "work offline" mode, you are not connected to the Outlook server and cannot receive emails.

To turn off the offline mode for work:

Navigate to Outlook's Send/Receive tab at the top.
Next, choose "work offline" mode from the settings menu.

Go to the Account Settings page.
After that, confirm that the password and email address are the ones you used to sign up.
5. Verify Outlook's spam folder
Not checking the spam folder is a mistake that many individuals do. Since you usually get emails directly to your inbox, it is unlikely that you would discover this error by checking the spam folder. However, it can happen sometimes for emails to be classed as spam, so be sure.

Checking your spam

Start Outlook.
Go to the folders area and choose garbage email.
The lost email may be moved into your inbox by right-clicking it if you discover it there.
Give Outlook instructions to trust emails from this sender.
